Project Overview

This project involved installing a brand-new screen enclosure for a covered back porch, transforming an open porch area into a protected and comfortable outdoor living space. The homeowner wanted to enjoy fresh air and natural light without dealing with insects, debris, or weather exposure—while keeping the enclosure clean, modern, and visually aligned with the home.

Our team custom-built the enclosure to fit the existing patio/porch footprint, ensuring a seamless connection to the home’s structure and roofline.

The Challenge

The porch was fully open, leaving the space exposed to insects, wind-blown debris, and harsh Florida weather. The homeowner needed a solution that would enclose the area without making it feel closed-in or dark, while also maintaining proper airflow and visibility.

The enclosure also had to integrate cleanly with the home’s exterior, including matching lines, finishes, and drainage considerations.

We designed and installed a custom aluminum screen enclosure tailored to the patio’s layout and usage needs:

• Professionally installed screen door for smooth access and everyday convenience
• Tight spline installation for durability and wind resistance
• Clean, straight panel alignment to enhance the home’s exterior appearance
• Careful integration with the existing roofline and patio surface

All materials were selected for long-term performance in Florida’s heat, humidity, and seasonal weather conditions.
